I had an amazing two-night stay at Hospedaje Bananas. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Ometepe Island. The hostel is located on a banana farm, giving you a unique and authentic experience. The owner, Efran, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and organized activities for us. The food was delicious, especially the chicken soup. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff was super friendly. Great value for money and I highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed the 15/20 minute walk to Altagracia, interacting with friendly locals and witnessing the mesmerizing views of fireflies at night. Efraim also served as a fantastic tour guide for our climb up Conception. Highly recommend staying at this guesthouse and using Efraim as a guide. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful experience.

Although a bit off the beaten path, it turned out to be a small adventure that I enjoyed. The opportunity to connect with his wonderful family and enjoy delicious meals cooked by his wife made it even more special. The relaxing atmosphere and option to rent a scooter or motorbike added to the experience. Despite a few minor hiccups like mosquitoes and low water pressure, I highly recommend staying at Bananas Guest House. I had a fantastic time and would definitely come back one day.
